Woman Marries a Dead Man!

The Associated Press is reporting that a French woman married her dead boyfriend! Christelle Demichel legally became both a bride and a widow in the same day, under a special dispensation from French president Jacques Chirac. The wedding took place 18 months after the groom, a former policeman identified as Eric, was killed by a drunk driver. I wonder why it took so long for them to marry? Perhaps the groom had cold feet?
