Bush announces plans to back an ammendment against gay marriages

As has been rumored for weeks, Bush announced that he will support a constitutional ammendment banning gay marriage in the US. Saying that "activist judges and local officials have made an aggressive attempt to redefine marriage," Bush said the amendment was needed to keep "the meaning of marriage from being changed forever."
