Bouquet and Garter Toss

Wednesday April 14, 2004
Once upon a time, when they announced the bouquet toss everyone would clamour to get it. These days, it seems like every wedding I go to, single women hide in the bathroom so they won't be "forced" to go up. Those who do go up try to avoid actually catching it! Could it be that this time-honored tradition is going the way of the dinosaur? Should brides not include the bouquet and garter toss? Vote in the poll on the forum, then post a reply telling us more about your thoughts on the matter.

I have to admit I love Garter tosses. The young run away and the older ladies will fight tooth and nail to get it. I brought a garter and when I threw it you should have seen the pile it created on the floor, it was so funny.
