Celebrity Wedding News : Elton John Is Getting Married, Amber and Rob's Destination Wedding, One Tree Hill stars marry

Yes it's true – Elton John is getting married – to long time boyfriend David Furnish. After 11 years together, the couple will finally legally be able to wed when the UK allows same-sex civil unions after December 5th. Unfortunately, it seems as though we the public will be denied the kind of extravagant wedding one might think the Rocket Man might have – perhaps similar to his friend Liza Minellis? Instead, there will be no honeymoon, and only a simple ceremony – apparently the main motivation to tie the knot legally is for tax breaks.

But fear not! Romance is not dead in Hollywood! Two more celebrity couples have just gotten hitched in beautiful ceremonies.


Only a year after Rob Mariano proposed to Amber Brkich on Survivor: All-Stars, the millionaire pair sealed the deal on April 16th in the Bahamas. Apparently the two had a beautiful wedding on the island's famed-beaches. Details of the wedding are being kept hush-hush to build excitement – their wedding will be shown in two-hour special on May 24 on CBS.

And One Tree Hill stars Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush were married on a beach in Santa Monica the same day! With more than 100 friends and family watching, Chad and Sophia tied the knot at the Casa Del Mar resort in an intimate and relaxed ceremony. Sophia Bush chose a Vera Wang strapless cream dress with blue flowers, while Chad wore a Ralph Lauren Black label tuxedo.
