Runaway Bride? How to Deal with Cold Feet

If you follow the news, you can't have missed the story of the Georgia bride who ran away four days before the wedding, prompted a nation-wide search, and called to say that she'd been kidnapped only to be found to have simply run away from the wedding. The newspapers and magazines have repeatedly said that it was just a case of cold feet, but running across the country is way more than cold feet! She should have postponed or called off the wedding – not easy things to do, but certainly easier than running across the country. Most brides and grooms experience pre-wedding nerves, or "cold feet."
