Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney Married in Surprise Ceremony!

Bubbly actress Renee Zellweger and country music star Kenny Chesney have surprised fans by getting married! Zellweger and Chesney had a small intimate ceremony on the Carribean island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. While the Virgin Islands are a popular spot for destination weddings, the couple likely chose the spot because it's Chesney's home when he's not touring in support of his best-selling albums, "When the Sun Goes Down" and "Be as You Are." About 45 family and friends gathered for the wedding at his house on Monday, May 9th. Zellweger wore a gown by Carolina Hererra, according to her publicist.

Renee and Kenny had only been dating for about four months, after meeting at a tsunami benefit in mid-January. Zellweger had recently ended her two-year relationship with Jack White and was reported to still be struggling over the breakup as late as February. However, Kenny Chesney has supposedly had a crush on the "Bridget Jones's Diary" star for years and was inspired to write his 1999 hit "You Had Me From Hello" after seeing her in "Jerry Maguire."
