Sample Bridal Shower Invitations

This past weekend, I attended a lovely bridal shower for a friend who's getting married this October. It was held in the bride's parents backyard, and was a lovely afternoon with good food and lots of great presents! My one complaint was that I wasn't sure what to expect from the invitation. Since I didn't know the hosts, and it was a surprise so I couldn't ask the bride, my only clues on what to wear, what would happen at the event, who else might attend, and more was the emailed invitation with time, date and place. With a little more description, they could have made guests, particularly ones they didn't already know, feel more at ease.
