Technology strikes again! Two Texans have gotten married through their blogs. How is that possible you ask? Because of a Texas law that says for a informal marriage to be legal, two people must publically declare that they consider themselves to be married, must have lived together as husband and wife, and must represent to other residents of Texas that they are married. (more on this law) Kathleen and Eric posted their wedding vows on their respective blogs and poof - they were married.

Seemingly following in their footsteps, a manhattanite chose to blog his proposal rather than giving it in person. Call me old fashioned, but I still believe in spending two pretty important moments of your relationship together, rather than separated by technology.
