Wedding Stamps

Tuesday March 7, 2006
Brides have long been choosy about which stamps they put on their wedding invitation. After all, if you're going to spend all that time and money choosing the paper, the calligraphy and perhaps even the ink color, you'll want the stamp to tie into the theme and look as well. Many brides have been stuck with the Love design, a classic to be sure, but too bright and modern for some invitations. Martha Stewart even advocates turning to ebay to find stamps that perfectly fit your wedding theme. Now the Post Office has recognized the need for coordinated wedding stamps with this new release. Paste the 63 cent stamp on the heavier invitation, and the 34 cent stamp on the return envelope - easy as pie! For more information, go to the USPS.com
