I think the whole thing is so creepy! He’s so controlling and the whole thing smacks of a publicity stunt. I don’t think they’re really in love.

WHO CARES!!! HOW WILL THIS HELP THE CRISIS IN IRAQ?? HOW WILL IT LOWER MY TAXES?? WILL IT HELP FEED MY FAMILY? WILL IT MAKE US SAFER? THESE ARE IMPORTANT ISSUES. MOST PEOPLE MARRY AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER. THOSE THAT DON’T, GENERALLY DON’T TALK ABOUT IT.
Why did Cruise choose Italy, the Roman Catholic “capitol” of the world? Could it be, perhaps, that he deliberately wanted to take another jab at Katie’s Catholic parents? He separated Holmes from the religion in which she was born and raised, and is now going to marry her just a “stone’s throw” away from The Vatican. Can anyone say, “manipulative?”
TOM IS A CONTROL FREAK AND HAS MANIPULATED THIS POOR DUMB GIRL ALL ALONG. HE IS SO NEEDY OF ATTENTION, THIS WHOLE WEDDING IS JUST ANOTHER ONE OF HIS PUBLICITY SEEKING ANTICS. HE EVEN HIRES PHOTOGRAPHERS TO TAKE PICTURES OF HIM AT HIS KIDS SOCCER GAMES. THERE ARE WAY MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES IN THIS WORLD THAN THIS WEDDING.

I’m very happy Katie isn’t having a Catholic wedding. Once she is deprogrammed, she may be able to find a real husband. Then again, it’s not working out so hot for Nicole right now.
I couldn’t care less about anyone’s wedding, least of all of two people who are no relation to me. And I wouldn’t have – if it weren’t for public media such as BBC, Sky News and CNN. (Believe it or not, Sky News is actually flashing a BREAKING NEWS sign, saying that “publicist reports Cruise and Holmes have married”…)
THAT’s what I find ridiculous beyond belief.
Why not spend all that money in the great UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
