Prince William to Marry Kate Middleton? Rumors Flying About Royal Engagement

Thursday November 30, 2006
Prince William's girlfriend of five years, Kate Middleton, has long been a target of unwanted media attention. Now the rumors are flying that a Christmas engagement may be in the works. Queen Elizabeth has invited Middleton to Christmas Day lunch; Kate is the first person not-married to a member of the Royal family to be included in Christmas with the Windsors. The Royal family is also rebuilding the mansion Harewood Park House, possibly as a wedding present to the couple, and the royal title of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has been set aside for Kate and Wills. Royal watchers and wedding lovers around the world would be excited to see a new Royal wedding, hopefully with a better "happily ever after" than Charles and Diana or Fergie and Andrew.

Christmas is a very popular time to get engaged. If you're considering a Christmas proposal, check out these marriage proposal ideas.

I love the idea of the Fairy Tale aspect of William getting married. But I hope that the media will leave these poor kid’s alone. Allow them some time to get to know each other. Every couple famous or not needs that time! We need to stay out of other folks business more.

I think William and Kate should get married in the near future. I hope it is true they got back together which I heard in US Weekly magazine.
