Planning a Meaningful Wedding Ceremony

Thursday March 15, 2007
Don't be one of those couples who spends so much time planning their wedding reception - from the color of the napkins to the courtesy basket in the bathroom - that they don't have enough time to plan their wedding ceremony! In my opinion, the wedding ceremony should receive the majority of your attention, since it is, afterall, the point. There are many ways to make it meaningful and personal. Even if your church or temple has a set order of service, there may be opportunities to add your own choices of wedding ceremony music, wedding readings or even a special unity candle ceremony.

Perhaps the best place to customize your wedding is in your wedding vows. You can write personalized wedding vows, or look for traditional vows that especially speak to you.
