Friday Poll: Do You Believe in Dr. Perricone's 3-Day Nutritional Face-lift?

By , About.com GuideApril 4, 2008

Follow me on:

At first glance, Dr. Perricone's 3-day plan for better skin sounds like a miracle for brides. I've got a 5-month Countdown to Bridal Beauty that works well, slowly and effectively. But if you've left yourself far less than five months to get your skin together, you'll need a quick fix.

Could Dr. Perricone's plan be that miracle? Read all the details and answer our poll: Dr. Perricone's 3-Day Nutritional Face-lift promises to give you dramatic results by following a diet high in lean protein. In fact, you'll need to eat grilled salmon (and that's not cheap) for 2 meals a day, as well as give up your coffee or soda, and eat lots of vegetables.

Much of Dr. Perricone's philosophies sound a little suspicious. Quackwatch.com certainly seems to think so. And eating 6 meals of salmon in 3 days makes me worry about mercury levels.

So, what do you think? Is a diet like Dr. Perricone espouses worth the risk?

I'll be stressed out! Bring on the chocolate and caffeine!

I'll try to change my eating habits, but I know that I won't be perfect.

I plan to follow the Perricone plan, or something similar.

I already have impeccable eating habits.
