In most of the United States, August means heat and humidity. But many couples have always dreamed of having their wedding in the beautiful outdoors. We're going to a outdoor wedding next weekend in the south, and we're trying to figure out how skimpy we can dress without scandalizing anyone.

Very good points! Everyone always envisions their outdoor wedding as perfect, but often weather/fate have other plans. I see it all the time with destination weddings.
Some of my favorites include an outdoor buffet prior to the ceremony at the beach gazebo…but they didn’t know that the seagulls on that beach were invited and ferocious! Good point on what guests should wear, because if a couple is having a beach wedding guests may feel obligated to put formal attire on, when the couple might want them to go casual.
Speaking of your alcohol dehyrating comment, what about the groom that had his batchelor party the night before his 95 degree beach wedding! Sound crazy?…it happens!
