A Fabulous Wedding Quilt!

Thursday October 30, 2008
Shelteriffic Quilt For my wedding, my family spent hours helping me make colorful table runners that I insisted on having. But now all that fabric is just sitting in a box at my father's house, purposeless. That's why I loved finding this old post on Shelteriffic. Angela's sister-in-law took her wedding tablecloths and made them into a beautiful quilt. Now, every night when they go to sleep, they can remember the joy of their wedding day. Now I've just got to teach myself how to quilt....

wonderful idea !!!!!!
and you can use the left-over fabric that you over bought and have matching throw pillows and pillow shams to coordinate –

To: one of the most informative wedding sites on the net, we wholeheartedly concur! Using what is set aside and all too often forgotten is a positive accomplishment, not to mention, as in this case, useful and romantic.

dear nina,
i find your attitude towards parents incredibly
dishonoring and disrespectful.
Perhaps you should consider the right of passage of the child into adulthood at the time of a wedding?
if we are blessed in this life it is our parents that help us get married, by supporting us

Janet -
I’m sorry you misconstrued what I said above. My family is incredibly important to me. I feel guilty that my family spent so long on this project, and now, after the wedding, that project is languishing in a box. Hope that clears things up!
