2009 Wedding Trends

It's that time of year again, when I'm looking forward to what's going to be hip and hot next year. Here's my annual list of what I predict will be the hottest 2009 wedding trends. What do you think? Do you agree or disagree with my predictions?

I agree with you on the gray. I’m using charcoal for my bridesmaids and they are carrying lavender flowers. I’ve been seeing it pop up in magazines more and more lately.
How cool. Our January wedding is Ivory, gray and red. We have a hint of the 50’s going on so I found a beaded hair piece with ivory feathers. My fiance is wearing a black pinstripe suit, everyone else charcoal and platinum. Jr bridesmaid is a pretty red and the men’s shoes are wing tipped. I’m in my 40’s and glad to know we can be trendy at our age. lol
Grey and charcoal are both great neutral colours for your wedding party. They allow for some pretty bold accent colours without looking garish or dated. Agree wholeheartedly.
I thought I was being unique having Charcoal grey dresses on my Bridesmaids and using pale pink and pale yellow Tulips as my flowers for my February 20th 2009 wedding….Apparently NOT!
