When you get engaged, most people will want to know details about the proposal, and then what your plans are for the wedding. What they don't ask you about, and probably should, is what your plans are for your engagement.

You know, this is a good point that I never see anyone bringing up. During the engagement period, while all the busy work starts, it’s good to step back and remember why you got engaged in the first place, what all this work is really for.
