Not that an outdoor wedding is at all like a bicycle ride, but the long trip I took yesterday reminded me of all the little things you need to think about. When I started riding, soaking in the spring sunshine, I was glad for short sleeves and lots of cold water, but by the end I needed two sweaters in the chilly night air. When you're getting married, you want your guests to be thinking about how romantic and beautiful everything is rather than how hot or cold they are, or the pesky mosquitoes around them. So when you ride away on your bicycle built for two (or, more likely, in a fancy car) you'll be thankful you planned ahead.
