Conde Nast Closes Down 2 Bridal Magazines
The recession claimed 4 more publishing world victims this morning, including two bridal magazines, as Conde Nast announced it would fold Modern Bride and Elegant Bride as well as Cookie and Gourmet. With so many different wedding planning websites and online message boards, it's not surprising that the print world is suffering. It makes me wonder - are you still buying bridal mags or are you relying solely on the internet? Personally, I love the convenience of online etiquette information and planning tools, but I do love the leisure of turning glossy pages of artful pictures, not to mention being able to rip out my favorite images and pin them above my desk. But what about you? Is there a future for the remaining bridal magazines?

I do love relaxing, and flicking through bridal magazines, its great, but again like you enjoy the convenience of the internet and being able to find a wide range of ideas and inspiration.
The internet is also the cheaper option, at £5 per magazine it can become expensive for a lot of brides.
The internet is a powerful tool but it is also nice as you say to flick through a glossy mag…Magazines give you a feel good factor !!
Lots of my brides are still buying bridal magazines & you will find lots are passed on from bride to bride !
