Madonna Wins Wedding Photography Damages, Too.

No, Madonna didn't have the worst wedding photographer ever, she apparently had some very lovely photos of her wedding to Guy Ritchie. They were so lovely that she never shared them with the rest of us, or sold them to a magazine. But a super sneaky interior decorator managed to nab some shots out of an album, and when the Ritchies announced their divorce, the Daily Mail published 11 of the purloined photos. Though Madonna certainly doesn't need any damages, I'm glad that the Daily Mail got slapped for stealing, infringing copyright, and associating private photos with the public scandal. Wedding photos are pretty precious things, and it's good to see the courts taking them seriously. Source: BBC
