I once thought that balloons only belonged at weddings with a whimisical, carnival theme. But after seeing these awesome photos from Australian photographer Jonathan Ong, I'm definitely changing my mind. When Brendan and Jennifer got married in Brisbane, they asked their wedding guests to join them in releasing red, heart-shaped balloons. The resulting photographs are awesome.
Seeing these photos inspired me to go looking for more elegant balloons. I loved these hundreds of multi-colored balloons decorating a table, although I do wonder how the table isn't floating away! Combined with chivari chairs, white tablecloths and nice china, the look is colorful yet sophisticated.
I also found these sculptural white balloons decorating a stairwell. If your guests will have to walk through a not-so-nice space to get to your wedding, a mono-color balloon sculpture is a way of distracting the eye.

I LOVE THESE! SO CUTE! I THINK HAVING BALLOONS WILL BE CHEAPER THAN FLOWERS IF WE RENT A HELIUM TANK AND BLOW THEM UP OURSELVES. TRYING TO FIGURE THAT OUT NOW…
I’ve said that least 840951 times. The problem this like that is they are just too compilcated for the average bird, if you know what I mean
