When you've had a website for as long as I have (9 years!) sometimes you fall down a rabbit hole of updating, editing, and deleting old articles. Case in point: this morning I started off updating my article 51 Ideas for Engraving Your Wedding Rings, as I wanted to add a few cute new ones I'd discovered.
Before I knew it, I was reformatting and organizing the piece, adding new link boxes, and finding new references. That led me to substantially update my piece Men's Wedding Rings: Should You Wear One?, as well as a Library of Wedding Readings, Tattooed Wedding Rings, and Samples of Ring Ceremony Vows. Now I'm working on adding many new poems to my Love Poetry for Wedding Readings. Phew! And all because I wanted to add another funny engraving idea from Star Wars.
Are you engraving your wedding bands? What words are you considering? And do you ever fall down a rabbit hole with work, where you set out to do one task, and hours later it's turned into six more?

I think we’re going to get “Forever” though I like some of the funny ones! My grandparents had forever in their rings, and they had along and happy marriage. So it’s sentimental.
And yes, I know the feeling of todo list growth quite well! Around here, we call it scope creep!
I hadn’t thought of engravying our rings….not sure why…..this is cool. i like the idea of my rings being found one day and someone wondering what it means….also the idea of a secret between us…
