The Hug salt and pepper shakers are one of the MoMA Design Store's top sellers. And for good reason: the two identical porcelain characters nest together in an adorable embrace. They're a great gift for Valentine's Day, a housewarming, or just because. When I first saw them, I instantly thought wedding favor - s&p shakers are generally cute, inexpensive, and are useful after the event is over. Then the $30 price tag stopped me in my tracks. Spending thousands of dollars on wedding favors just isn't in most people's budgets.
Luckily, I've found a pretty good - and affordable - knockoff.

I especially love this favor idea for a Halloween wedding, as the little figures look slightly like little ghosts.
