Answer: I love to see gifts that combine registry items with personal touches. Choose a less expensive item from the registry and add an “extra.” For example, if you’re giving a baking pan, why not add a tasty bread mix, and a jar of delicious jam? Or, if they’ve registered for a beach towel, and are going someplace warm on their honeymoon, add a tube of sunscreen and a blow-up beach ball. And of course, if you’re giving a picture frame, don’t forget to slip in a picture of yourself with the couple.
