One of the most common questions I get about bridal showers is how to word the invitations, poems or cute rhymes to use, and especially how to let guests know that there will be a theme. Here's a guide to bridal shower invitation wording that should answer all of your questions.
What Should be Included on a Bridal Shower Invitation
Bride's full name (and sometimes Groom's)
RSVP name and number
Date to RSVP by
Other Information You Might Want to Include:
Where the bride is registered
Theme of shower or gifts (ie garden shower, lingerie shower, etc.)
Date of the wedding
If the shower is a surprise, clearly state that, and include what time the bride is expected to arrive. (That way people know what time they absolutely must arrive by.)
