Anne Hathaway's Champagne Colored Oscar Dress

An Elegant Alternative to a Traditional Wedding Dress

Anne Hathaway may have been a fashion dunce in The Devil Wears Prada but her Armani Prive gown at the 2009 Oscars was fashion genius. The buff-colored sequined column dress was but one of a parade of white and off-white dresses on the red carpet this year. Couldn't you see this as a wedding dress for a bride in her 30's or 40's, especially for a sophisticated event at an art gallery, or striking loft space?

Finding an off-the-rack wedding dress as exquisite as this couture gown isn't easy, but for a similar look, consider this Nicole Miller white sequined strapless dress, or this Aidan Mattox gown.
