This week, Nikki’s daughter Addison is with them, as it was Addison’s birthday on Wednesday. They had a blast touring the city, and going to the restaurant Serendipity for their famous frozen hot chocolate.
Which of the welcome gift bags did viewers choose?
The choices were:- Gift bag #1 is a colorful beach bag filled with a beach towel, flip-flops, suntan lotion, and a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses.
- Gift bag #2 is a picnic basket filled with gourmet cookies, nuts, coffee, tea, crackers, chocolates and a Jones soda with their picture on it.
- Gift bag #3 includes a snorkeling set, a travel guide, sunscreen, a gift certificate to Ofoto.com, and a digital camera, all packed in an insulated travel backpack.
- Gift bag #4 is a deluxe spa basket from ORIGINS, filled with pampering beauty products.
On the confession cam, Nikki said that her favorite was choice #1 because it offered something for everyone. Buddy liked the sunglasses of #1 and said that his family would enjoy all the good things to eat in #2, but that his favorite was #3. Nikki thought the personalized soda was a little “creepy” and made guests unable to get away from them. They also both liked choice #4 but thought it would only be good for the women at the wedding, leaving the men a little left out. They also said friends and family had been rooting for gift bag #3, hoping to each get digital cameras!

For this segment, Today brought in hairstylist to the stars, Louis Lacari, who said that the most important thing is to look like yourself. You also should look at the texture of your hair and see what it is capable of. Remember, it has to look good for many hours. Since their wedding is on a beach, her hair also has to withstand the wind. When Nikki’s maid of honor Christy was in town, they spent the day at Louis Lacari’s salon sampling the different wedding hairstyles, along with pedicures, manicures and facials.And the wedding hairstyle choices are:
- Wedding hairstyle #1 is the sophisticated look where the sides are first teased up, then pinned up under the top. The style gives her height, and puts it up off her face, while still wearing it down.
- Wedding hairstyle #2 is the chic look where because of Nikki’s fine hair, they added extensions for fullness. After gathering the hair into a ponytail, they pin it into a soft, smooth full bun. While it’s pulled up, it’s soft and not slicked back.
- Wedding hairstyle #3 is the elegant look. The stylist blow-dries the hair while pinning the hair in a roller-like shape, before combing it out into soft, loose curls. While her hair is normally pretty straight, this is fuller and more glamorous.
- Wedding hairstyle #4 is the romantic look. After making the hair full with a blow-dryer, the hair is braided and pinned under. While keeping the hair very neat, it’s also soft and modern.
I am divided about which of these I like better. While a style pulling the hair off the face is good for the wind (we don’t want to see Cousin It reciting her vows!), I think her angular face is more complimented by the softness of look #3.
