Weddings on TV: the highlights

TV producers have gone nuts for weddings lately! It seems like you can't turn on the tv without seeing a wedding these days. Here's what I'll be tuning in for:
This Saturday night at 9, The Food Network is showing a wedding cake challenge where five teams of expert pastry chefs will compete to win the title of most spectacular wedding cake. Previews have included a five-tier upside down cake and a sugar "snow globe" filled with edible rings!!!
For those of you who like celebrity weddings, InStyle's Celebrity Weddings special is always fun. It's airing Sunday, June 20 at 10 am and features Russell Crowe and Danielle Spencer, Julianne Moore and Bart Freundlich, Shaquille O'Neal and Shaunie Nelson, and Jamie-Lynn Sigler and A.J. DiScala. VH1 has its own celeb weddings shindig airing all this week in a variety of time slots, featuring Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro, Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow, Adam Sandler and Jackie Titone, and Leah Remini and Angelo Pagan.
I'll also be tuning in for the second in a five part series of Weddings Gone Wacky, Wonderful and Wild: Anything for Love on ABC, which will feature real-life couples who took creative risks with their weddings. Phew, that's a lot of TV watching!
