Wedding Programs
Wednesday March 29, 2006
Picture it: you're a guest at a wedding where you don't share the culture or religion, and have no idea who many of the people in the wedding party are. While you may enjoy seeing your friends get married, the rest of the ceremony seems foreign and confusing. And, you might also be wondering how much longer until the moment you've been waiting for - the pronouncement of marriage and the reception!
Give your guests a little cheat sheet so they won't be so confused. A wedding program can include everything from an order of service to an explanation of the wedding party, or even memorials for people who aren't alive to be at the wedding. I've also seen cute stories about how people got engaged, or why they chose their wedding theme, location, etc. Here's a guide to writing your own wedding program, and all the details you should include.
