My ring is a white gold rope band with a .58 round center blue diamond fancy Surrounded by 18 small diamonds..total carats combined is 1 plus..

we had discussed marriage many times in May however I told him if he was serious GET THE RING..he took me to the jewelry store and told me the good news..I GOT MY TRUCK AND NOW I WANT YOUR RING..he proposed outside of the jewelry store and we went in and picked it out..
Do you love your engagement ring? Be honest!
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE MY RING..it is unique and so captivating when the light hits it or when I wash my hands..and really I have rarely seen a woman who owns a Blue diamond..one other and I said to myself one day my LOVE will get me this...AND HE DID.
What's your favorite part about your engagement ring?
The fancy color of the diamond and the delicate setting on my finger.

I got if from Benton's Jewelry in Jeffersonville Indiana. It is a little Mom and Pop family-owned jeweler named Jim Benton. He has an absolute eye for what looks beautiful on a woman's hand or ears and neck.
Advice
- When you're thinking of marriage, do your research on the cut, clarity, and carat. Know what you envision your ring to look like, and do not settle for anything less than you envision. You have to wear it for life! Also, do not dismiss Mom and Pop jewelers because they have the deals and unique things you cannot find in large jewelers. Lastly, get your ring appraised and insured. :)
